Million Person March|
2002-05-12, 12:28 p.m.
To start, my name is Courtney, and I live in Michigan. I am a very strong believer in the fight for civil rights for all people, and have an especial focus on people of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community.
I'm entering college this year and plan on gathering people to rally on Washington in a few years (I'm planning on taking a lot of time to get everything worked out) to rally for human rights. Gays get the same rights as straights, along with rallying for laws to be passed protecting Arabic, Jewish and Palestinian Americans who have come under fire recently after the 9-11 attacks.
For the sake of argument this is currently being called the million people march. I'm looking for interested groups of blacks, whites, gays, straights, jews, arabic peoples, muslims, everyone. Everyone with something to say about how they are treated by the government.
email me at [email protected] if you are interested.
Please, be the difference that makes a difference.
