You can find out about Earth Day events in your area on the Earth Day web site. You can also come up with ideas of your own! A lot of health food markets are having a special promotions day on April 20th, where they'll give out environmental information and offer free samples. Maybe you'll want to check out their parking lots of SUVs to give an environmental parking ticket to, or stand near the door giving out leaflets on whatever your pet cause is. A number of museums hold Earth Day events too.
