Cliffhanger Could Yield Global Warming Win for the Nation
2002-06-23, 5 p.m.

The auto industry is spending millions of dollars to prevent final passage of landmark legislation in California to limit greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles. This legislation can become a model for similar legislation in other states -- putting the pressure on Washington to act on global warming. Contact California's Governor Gray Davis. Urge him to resist auto industry pressure and to support greenhouse gas pollution reductions from cars and trucks in the state and across the nation.

You don't have to be in California to take action on this -- if California acts, we will all benefit.

Take action on greenhouse gas emissions
