135 CITIES COMING to DC on OCT. 25!
2003-10-18, 4:39 p.m.

National March on Washington DC
*End the occupation of Iraq!
*Bring the troops home now!
*Money for Jobs, Education, Housing - Not War!
*Fight Back Against the Patriot Act!

The Bush administration's pro-war and anti-people program is galvanizing wider and wider opposition throughout the country. On October 25 this growing opposition will see its most dramatic manifestation since the huge anti-war protests of last winter and spring. If you are outraged with Bush's lies, arrogance, and criminal conduct, join the tens of thousands of people are planning to come to Washington, D.C. on Saturday October 25 for a massive demonstration against the Bush program, the occupation and ongoing war in Iraq, and the Ashcroft assault on the Bill of Rights. We will meet at the Washington Monument at 11 am and to the White House and the Justice Department. The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition thanks the thousands of volunteers across the country who are working to make this demonstration a success.

We are excited to announce that there are now more than 135 cities in 38 states and Canada that are organizing buses, vans and car caravans to be at the October 25 demonstration. In many cities we also have multiple bus pick-up locations around the area -- around New York City there are locations throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and Jersey City (see below for specific New York City bus location details).

If you haven't purchased your bus ticket or signed up for a car caravan, we urge you to do so today. If you are near any of the cities below, you can go to the A.N.S.W.E.R. website and sign up now. If your city or locality is not listed, sign up to meet up with others who are coming from your location.

All the details about transportation - including contact information, departure times and locations, prices and more for - as well as an easy-to-use form to list your city, can be found on the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition website at http://www.internationalanswer.org/campaigns/o25/oct25transp.html
