Virtual March on Washington - February 26th|
2003-02-23, 2:43 a.m.
February 26th: Virtual March on Washington.
On February 26th, every Senate office will receive a call every minute from a constituent, as they receive a simultaneous flood of faxes and e-mail. Hundreds of thousands of people from across the country will send the collective message: Don't Attack Iraq.
On February 26th, you can join a massive march on Washington without leaving your living room. The Virtual March on Washington is a first-of-its-kind campaign from the Win Without War coalition.
Working together, we will direct a steady stream of phone calls ó about one per minute, all day ó to every Senate office in the country, while at the same time delivering a constant stream of e-mails and faxes. Our message: Donít Attack Iraq.
Prepare a Free Fax to your Senators.
Remember, February 26th, be sure to call your Senators, send faxes, and tell your friends to do the same! Tell them we don't want war. We know that war will increase terrorism against us, making us less safe not more secure, will cost us billions, and will kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
Inspections, not war!
"Let us rise up tonight with a greater readiness. Let us stand with a greater determination. And let us move on in these powerful days, these days of challenge to make America what it ought to be. We have an opportunity to make America a better nation." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
