DC Voting
2004-07-14, 8:24 p.m.

Dear Human Rights Campaign and other groups:

When you call DC donors and others to enlist their help on a campaign, please do not ask us to call our Senators and tell them to vote for or against legislation. The 202 area code of our numbers should clue you in. We have no Senators. Never have.

I'm grateful for the work that all progressive groups do, but I do expect a bit more issue-knowledge and sensitvity to the fact that we have no voting representation.
